Are you in need of a good, local, and affordable health care provider? Come learn more about Metro Community Health Center at Swissvale Library. Metro is a full-service, federally qualified health center look-alike, dedicated to providing comprehensive and compassionate medical, mental health, and dental care to all, regardless of identity, income, insurance status, or the ability to pay. 

Our outreach program focuses on connecting people to care and removing barriers through a range of supportive initiatives: 

  • a transportation program offering free Uber rides to and from appointments at our health center to those who qualify,
  • a discounted pharmacy program for affordable medications,
  • a Sliding Fee Discount Scale, and a Community Health Program that provides home visits and connects patients with social services and chronic care support.
