Join the Robotics Team!
FIRST LEGO League challenges kids to think like scientists and engineers. During the Unearthed season, teams will explore archaeology. You will also build, test, and program an autonomous robot using LEGO® MINDSTORMS® technology to solve a set of missions in the Robot Game. For grades 4th through 8th.
Students will have the opportunity to:
- Apply real-world math and science concepts
- Research challenges facing today’s scientists
- Learn critical thinking, team-building and presentation skills
- Participate in a regional tournament that attracts over 700 students
- Learn programming languages including JavaScript
- Access on-line tools such as Robot Simulators and Development Environments
- Present a research project about the 2025 “Unearthed” Challenge
